Maulana Mohammed Yahya 
CEO

The engine behind the mission. Vision-driven, faith-led, and always chasing things up.


Overview: 

As CEO of The LINCS Project, Mohammed Yahya leads with purpose and persistence — driving the vision, managing programmes, and ensuring things actually get done. From grassroots outreach to long-term strategy, he’s the force pushing LINCS forward with heart and hustle.


Background: 

- Alim graduate (Islamic Dawah Academy, 2021) – the foundation of his mission 

- Trainee counsellor – committed to mental and emotional wellbeing 

- MA candidate in Islamic Education (University of Warwick) – merging classical tradition with academic insight 


Currently: 

- Leading and overseeing LINCS operations and growth 

- Serving as a listening ear via the LINCS Helpline 

- Delivering sessions at the Arabic Intensive Programme 

 - Education coordinator at UWT 

- Exploring business ventures to sustain long-term impact 


His core mission? 

To raise strong, grounded leaders rooted in faith, identity, and service — and to build a community that lasts.

Maulana Habib Ur Rahman Khalil

Co-Founder 

The speaker, the good cop, the man behind the mic (and the camera).


Overview:  

As co-founder of LINCS, Moulana Habib brings warmth, wisdom, and a strong media presence to the heart of the project. Known for his calm approach and powerful delivery, he’s often the first face people associate with LINCS — offering guidance, connection, and consistency.


Background:  

- Alimiyyah graduate (Darul Uloom Bury)  

- Further studies in Turkey under senior Islamic scholars  

- Master’s in Islamic Education (University of Warwick) — demonstrating deep commitment to effective teaching and lifelong learning  


Currently:  

- Leads Nikah Hub — helping couples navigate marriage and conflict resolution  

- Youth Engagement Officer at the British Muslim Heritage Centre  

- Arabic instructor at As-Suffah Institute (online)  

- Delivering sessions at the Arabic Intensive Programme 

- Delivers lessons and khutbahs across various mosques and institutes  


His core mission? 

Moulana Habib is committed to blending traditional knowledge with modern outreach, ensuring young Muslims find both relevance and rootedness in their faith.

Safwaan 
Programme Lead 

The calm in the chaos. Creative, consistent, and quietly making it all happen.


Overview: 

Safwaan plays a key role at LINCS — helping keep events, media, and logistics in sync. He’s the go-to when things need doing, bringing consistency and calm to every task.


Background: 

- Diploma in Networking & Systems Support – with a tech-savvy edge 

- Years of experience with Tabligh Jamaat – grounding him in discipline and barakah 


Currently: 

- Supporting the media and design team 

- Assisting with event planning, bookings, and calendar management 

- Helping coordinate weekly sessions and logistics 

- A trusted presence in LINCS day-to-day running

To serve behind the scenes with sincerity — ensuring every project runs smoothly, and every young person feels seen, heard, and supported.

Hafiz Shakiel 

Community Support 

The grounded voice, the calm presence, the local lad with a spiritual core.


Overview: 

Shakiel brings heart, honesty, and perspective to the team. He’s that go-to guy who senses what’s needed — offering sincere feedback, showing up when it counts, and always aiming to keep things real and rooted.


Background: 

- Hifz graduate – a spiritual foundation that guides his character 

- Qualified driving instructor – patient, focused, and disciplined 

- Proudly the local English lad who bridges communities with ease 


Currently: 

- Offers consistent support across LINCS activities 

- Known for giving grounded feedback and voicing community concerns 

- The one who often says what others are thinking — with hikmah 

- A natural connector and quiet force for good behind the scenes 


Why he matters: 

He may not speak the most — but when he does, it counts. A real brother, with real roots.

Abdul Rahman Al-Amari 
Media & Events Team

The energy, the host, the man on the move.


Overview: 

Abdul Rahman brings humour, creativity, and presence to every LINCS space — whether he's helping behind the scenes, hyping the crowd, or hosting the monthly Quiz Night.


Background: 

- Engineer by profession – analytical, practical, and always solving problems 

- A future media influencer in the making – confident, engaging, and full of personality 


Currently: 

- Regularly supports media & event logistics 

- Hosts LINCS Quiz Night with jokes, charm, and a lot of waffle 

- Always present and ready to help with a smile 


What makes him stand out? 

He’s everywhere, all at once — a dependable team player with effortless charisma and a heart to serve.

Maulana Asif 

The People’s Mawlana

Positivity, Service & Community Spirit Always present. Always uplifting. A heart in service of the people.


Overview: 

Mawlana Asif brings a unique warmth and sincerity to every space he steps into. Whether it’s delivering support, motivating others, or simply showing up — he’s someone the community can always rely on.


Background: 

- Alim graduate from Darul Uloom Bury 

- Deeply engaged across the charity and college sectors 

- Years of grassroots and masjid-based community service 


Currently: 

- Serving at Shahporan Masjid 

- Part of the Nikah Hub team 

- Active in education, youth work, and welfare support 

- Will, inshaAllah, lead football activities under his initiative  in partnership with LINCS

Youth Lead 

Dedication, Consistency & Youth Focused , Always giving time. Always showing up. A quiet force behind our youth work.

Asaad balances a busy life yet still makes space to be present for the youth multiple times a week. His quiet consistency and sincere care speak louder than words — making him a cornerstone of the LINCS youth environment.


Background: 

- Committed to youth development and community uplift 

- Experience working with young people in both faith and social spaces 

- Known for his approachable nature and dependable presence 


Currently: 

- Supporting LINCS youth sessions 3–4 times a week 

- Mentoring and building relationships with younger brothers 

- A key part of programme delivery and on-the-ground support

Bint Hanif 
Social Media Manager

Creative Force Behind the Scenes, Turning vision into visuals, and moments into memories.


Overview: 

She is one of the most valuable members of the LINCS team. From producing high-quality videos and graphics to capturing raw, behind-the-scenes moments, she brings the project to life with creativity, consistency, and heart.


Background: 

With a natural talent for design and storytelling, She stepped in early to shape the visual identity of LINCS — helping translate its purpose into powerful content.


Currently: 

- Creates videos, posters, reels, and more for all LINCS events 

- Manages media design and branding 

- Captures bloopers, reflections, and the spirit of the hub 

- Brings humour, warmth, and professionalism to the team

She doesn’t just make content — she captures the spirit of LINCS. Her creativity strengthens the message, deepens connection, and ensures the work we do leaves a mark.

Umm Fatima
Stay & Play Lead

Supportive, Consistent & Heart of the Community  

Holding it down behind the scenes, uplifting others up front.


Overview:  

She plays a vital behind-the-scenes role at LINCS — quietly ensuring things run smoothly while keeping spirits high. Whether through her work with children or her constant encouragement in the group chats, her impact is felt by all.


Background:  

- Alimah graduate with a strong sense of service 

- Lead on Stay & Play

- Deeply committed to community wellbeing and sisterhood


Currently:  

- Leads the Stay & Play sessions, caring for children so others can engage with ease 

- Sends regular reminders and updates in the sisters' groups 

- Keeps the sisterhood connected through cheerful, thoughtful communication

Her quiet reliability and genuine care make her a pillar of support — always present, always thinking of others.

Umm Bilal & Umm Yusuf
Event Organisers

Reliable, Generous & Foundational Pillars  

Steadfast supporters who bring heart and dedication to the sisters’ side of LINCS.


Overview:  

From setting up events to ensuring everything runs smoothly, They are the dependable hands and hearts behind many sisters’ gatherings at LINCS. Their presence brings comfort, their service brings strength, and their consistency keeps the community thriving.


Background:  

- Umm Bilal: Known for her warm presence and legendary desserts, she helps create a welcoming atmosphere and is always hands-on in organising sisters’ events. 

- Umm Yusuf: A dedicated organiser who consistently goes above and beyond, always present to support and ensure everything runs smoothly.



Currently:  

- Lead much of the sisters’ event organisation and coordination 

- Regularly prepare and deliver refreshments, making every gathering special 

- Constantly go out of their way to support sisters and strengthen community bonds

Their reliability, generosity, and steadfast commitment make them essential pillars of the LINCS sisters’ community. They're there no matter what — familiar faces who keep showing up, driven by love for the work and the community that keeps them going. 

Umm Taha & Umm Hala
The Critical Editors

Supportive, Consistent & Heart of the Community  

Holding it down behind the scenes, uplifting others up front.


Overview:  

Whether it’s finding the perfect words or ensuring every voice is considered, They play a vital role in shaping the LINCS message. Behind the scenes, they bring creativity, wisdom, and calm coordination — helping guide the tone, direction, and integrity of our work.


Background:  

- Umm Taha: English graduate, creative communicator working remotely but deeply connected 

- Umm Hala: English graduate and teacher, key coordinator ensuring all voices are heard 



Currently:  

- Umm Taha provides fresh captions, advice, and ideas that shape LINCS’ message from afar 

- Umm Hala helps coordinate posts and events, offering thoughtful support and trusted guidance

Together, they bring balance, depth, and intentionality — helping us communicate with purpose while staying true to our values.

Umm Aasiyah
Sisterhood Pioneer

Grounded in faith, filled with drive — and always lifting others up.


Overview:  

She was the one who initiated the very first LINCS sisterhood session, laying the foundations for what has now become a thriving space for women to connect, grow, and support one another. A mother to five daughters and an Alimah in training, she still finds time to lead, organise, and support — always with care and sincerity.


Background:  

- Mother of five, deeply rooted in family and faith 

- Currently studying to become an Alimah 

- Known for her strong presence and motivating leadership



Currently:  

- Leads key sisterhood initiatives and supports community projects 

- Balances studies, family, and service with remarkable grace 

- A trusted figure who consistently encourages others to step forward

Her sacrifice, leadership, and love for the community make her a foundational part of the LINCS sisters’ journey — the kind of leader who inspires by action and uplifts by presence. 

Umm Salah
Sisters Circles Lead

Creative, Committed & Community-Driven  

Designing with purpose, leading with heart.


Overview:  

Though she often works quietly behind the scenes, She is a powerhouse at LINCS — combining creative skill, Islamic knowledge, and a heart for the community. Her presence uplifts both the visual work and the spiritual core of our efforts.


Background:  

- Alimah graduate

- Experienced teacher with a strong grounding in education and mentorship  

- Deeply rooted in service, especially for sisters and youth  


Currently:  

- One of the lead designers at LINCS — known for her elegant and thoughtful visuals  

- Facilitates sister study sessions and supports sisters’ development  

- Provides a listening ear through our women’s support work  

- Helps coordinate sisters’ engagement and events

She blends creativity with compassion — ensuring that both the message and the people behind it are seen, heard, and supported.

She brings a spark of creativity and initiative to the LINCS sisters’ team. She’s always present, offering support, sharing ideas, and helping shape new directions for events and projects. Her contributions are often the starting point for what becomes something much bigger.

- Strong team player with a gift for generating fresh ideas 

- Involved in community initiatives and group coordination 

- Known for her consistent presence and enthusiasm



Currently:  

- Regularly contributing ideas and suggestions to improve sisters’ sessions 

- Supporting logistics and planning with a proactive approach 

- Helping bring energy and creativity to LINCS events
